Brief history of the Integrated Dialysis Facilities (HK) Ltd
The Integrated Dialysis Facilities (HK) Ltd (the 'Centre') was found by two local nephrologists in February 1985. The reason for setting up the the Centre was that the haemodialysis facilities in Hong Kong was grossly inadequate and the renal patients in Hong Kong needed a private dialysis treatment at an affordable cost. It was very successful and many renal patients would otherwise die without our service. It was incorporated in February 1990 as the Integrated Dialysis Facilities (HK) Ltd.
The Centre was registered in August 1998 under the Hong Kong Hospital and Nursing Home Ordinance. It was awarded the Caring Company by the Hong Kong Council of Social Services in 2005.
Our Mission
